About Me:
I am a very outgoing person, because of my Leo nature. I'm always making friends in places I'm not familiar with, because I find just being with my family is soooooooooo boring: it gets old reeeaaaally fast. When I went on a cross-country car trip a couple years ago, I went to a campsite in Colorado. There were two boys in the lot next to us. I got to know them. Their names were Michael and Alex. I was pen-palling with Michael until we lost touch. He was an artist, and I have a piece of his work on my bedroom door.
I am also always imagining things. Whenever I do something, I always think about 'what would happen if I did this?' or 'I wonder if this would happen?'. Just always a 'what if?' sort of a thing.
Another thing I do is remember moments. If something happens that is funny or amazing, I'll always say to a friend who was there: 'Hey, do you remember that time when…'. I have some pretty funny ones stored up inside my head.
One of my favorites with my ex-friend Cleo is at her dad's computer. We were sitting there, waiting for her game to load. All that was on the screen was black. It had just failed for the second time, and we were a bit worried. It was a disc game, not an online game. We were a giggly duo, us, and we had just got over a bout of laughing. All of a sudden she started whimpering and receding towards the back of the chair. I looked at her quizzically, and she stopped and stared blankly back. Then it hit me: I got it. She was pretending to be afraid that something bad was going to happen. I started it up again and she came out of her trance and joined me. Then, one white word broke the complete blackness of the screen:
LOADING…
After reading the word in a split second, our arms, which had been under our chins crunching into little fists, burst out and were held aloft; palms open, fingers full of energy and both of us crumpled back into the chair. We were laughing, of course. When we 'burst open', you see, we both hit the other one; either in the face, or the chest, or the stomach. Our shouting brought up her younger brother, Griffin and his friend, Madeline. They walked around us and kept glancing at the computer and us, repeating; “What?”…”What?”.
Fortunately, we were laughing so hard, that we couldn't say a word.
